Lead document Controller

The service provider will lead and coordinate the Document Control activities of Mozambique LNG Phase 2, in order to ensure effective, structured and compliant management of Project documentation. In particular, they will set up and maintain document management processes and tools, coordinate document workflows and exchanges, and support project teams and contractors in applying Document Control requirements.

ACTIVITIES

• Define, implement and maintain the Project's document management processes, procedures and tools, in accordance with applicable requirements and standards.
• Administer the EDMS and ensure its proper operation, in particular the workflows for document submission, review, approval, distribution and archiving.
• Ensure control of contractor documentation, in particular its compliance with the Project's numbering rules, format, metadata and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise Document Control activities and act as the interface with the Document Controllers of the various contractors/packages.
• Manage and track correspondence, transmittals and document review cycles.
• Provide the necessary support and training to project team members on the use of the tools and the application of document management rules.
• Monitor the progress of contractor document production, in coordination with Project Control, Planning and the Engineering teams.
• Set up and produce Document Control indicators and reports, in particular on documents under review and any delays or points of attention.
• Carry out the necessary quality checks and document audits, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Document Control practices.
• Prepare and follow up the final documentation and its archiving, in accordance with Project requirements.
• More generally, act as the Document Control focal point for the Mozambique LNG Phase 2 team and the contractors.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

Mozambique LNG Phase 2 / Prosperidade is a major integrated development project combining subsea, offshore and LNG infrastructure, aimed at developing the Prosperidade gas resources and expanding liquefaction capacity, building on the existing infrastructure and arrangements of Mozambique LNG Phase 1.
